It has been said that in all government jobs, 90 percent recruitment is based on merit, 5 percent for children of freedom fighters, 1 percent for minorities, 1 percent for disabled and third gender. Grandchildren have not been mentioned in the new notification. Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the notification has been issued based on the judgment of the Appellate Division. If there are no eligible candidates in the quota, the appointment will be made from the eligible candidates. Meanwhile, the internet has been restored in Bangladesh since Tuesday night.
