More than 1.4 lakh students have registered for this year’s HSC examination under nine general education, technical and madrasa boards. The current year’s HSC examination, which began on June 30, was disrupted due to severe violence during the quota reform movement. The remaining tests were rescheduled, and the interim government moved them to September 11 following the overthrow of the Hasina-led administration.Amid protests by some HSC examinees, the rest of the exams were canceled on August 20. This year’s results were prepared through subject mapping, where the marks of the six canceled exams were calculated based on the results of students in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams.
