In addition to the 26 dams that broke in the first phase of the flood, another dam also broke. This time, authorities think the damage may reach the millions.

About 30,000 people have been rescued and taken to shelters from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, said the additional district commissioner. The tall buildings of all educational institutions in Feni are being used as shelters. According to a government official, there is no electricity in most upazilas and water has gathered in Feni City. On Thursday morning, the water of the Muhuri river in Feni was flowing over 100 cm above the danger level. Reporters were informed by Selina Akhter, Deputy Commissioner of Feni, that the BGB, army, and navy are assisting in the rescue of the flood victims. Officials from the upazila and district are also present.
